Meters to Centimeters Converter: Quick and Clear

The formula

1 meter = 100 centimeters — "centi" means one-hundredth. This field updates live as you type (via the input's oninput event, no button needed): type 1.75 and the centimeters field immediately shows 175, the metric equivalent of a fairly average adult height.

How it differs from the other converters here

Most tools on this site require clicking Convert or pressing Enter. This one recalculates on every keystroke, so partial input produces partial (sometimes wrong-looking) results while you're still typing — for example typing "1" then "7" then "5" will briefly show 100, then 700, then 175 as you build up "1.75". Clearing the field resets the output to blank rather than 0.
