Feet to Inches Converter Tool

The math

One foot equals 12 inches, so converting is a single multiplication: inches = feet × 12. There's no rounding involved for whole or decimal feet — the calculator just multiplies whatever you enter by 12 and displays it as-is.

Worked example

A standard interior door is about 6.67 feet tall. 6.67 × 12 = 80.04, so the tool would show "6.67 feet = 80.04 inches." For a cleaner number: 5.5 feet (a common height reference) × 12 = 66 inches exactly.
