Celsius to Fahrenheit Converter – Quick and Easy!

The formula

Fahrenheit equals Celsius multiplied by 9/5, plus 32: °F = (°C × 9/5) + 32. This tool runs that exact formula on whatever number you enter and rounds the result to one decimal place.

Worked example

Take 24°C, a typical warm room temperature. Multiply by 9/5 to get 43.2, then add 32: 24°C = 75.2°F. Freezing point (0°C) works out to 32.0°F, and boiling point (100°C) comes out to 212.0°F — both fixed reference points you can use to sanity-check the tool.

Common reference values

0°C32.0°FWater freezes
21°C69.8°FComfortable room temp
37°C98.6°FHuman body temperature
100°C212.0°FWater boils at sea level

Where this trips people up

A common shortcut — "double it and add 30" — is only approximate; it drifts by more than 2°F once you're outside the 0–35°C range. For anything you're recording (a recipe, a lab reading, a thermostat setting), use the exact 9/5 factor rather than the mental-math version.
